Andrew Toy - CEO & Co-Founder
Before Enterproid, Andrew was VP of Mobile and Syndication Technology at MTV Networks. In this role, he provided technological leadership for digital distribution of Viacom content serving cable brands including MTV, Vh1, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon as well as online properties such as Gametrailers and Atom. Prior to joining MTV Networks, Andrew headed mobile application development for Morgan Stanley, specializing in mobile-video delivery as well as fixed-mobile convergent telephony. Before Morgan Stanley, Andrew was chief architect for Jarna Inc, a startup focused on enabling mobile workflows on event-based platforms. Andrew holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University, where he has also served as an associate lecturer.
Alexander Trewby - VP of Product & Co-Founder
Previously, Alexander spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley where he was VP of Mobile Development. With tens of thousands of BlackBerry devices under management, Alexander's team held several patents and were winners at the 2010 CIO Awards for MS Phone, a telephony application that drove annual savings of several millions of dollars for the company. In 1996, he co-founded Westminister Internet, a political internet consultancy that put the first Members of the UK and European Parliament online. In 2004, he sold a Flash XMPP instant messenger to Adobe's Antepo. In 2009, he created the first iPhone application for a UK politician. Alexander holds a B.S. in Economics from City University.
David Zhu - VP of Engineering & Co-Founder
David started hacking on mobile devices in the late ‘90s and has since worked on all major platforms including Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, PalmOS, and Symbian. David was previously Director of Engineering (and the first employee) at Smule, where he created the initial Sonic Network. It powered many of the company's #1 hits on the Apple App Store including Ocarina, Sonic Lighter, and I Am T-Pain. During his tenure, Smule's user base grew from zero to over 3 million unique devices and over 5 million individual app installs. In 2005, David co-founded a mobile security company focused on leveraging cellphones for strong two-factor personal authentication. Over the years, David has also held technical roles at companies such as Morgan Stanley, Jarna, and HP. David holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Nick Turner - VP of Sales & Business Development
Nick was previously VP of Partner and Channel Sales at Trust Digital, an early market leader in Mobile Device Management (MDM). After McAfee's acquisition of Trust Digital, Nick launched McAfee's first mobile operator partnerships for MDM and Mobile Security. Prior to his foray in to the Mobile Internet, Nick enjoyed a successful career in telecommunications, with a focus on bringing new compelling technologies to market. As VP Business Development at Telcordia, he positioned new interconnection solutions for mobile operators. Previously, he helped create the Session Border Controller (SBC) product category during his time at NexTone Communications while he held roles such as VP & General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa; and as VP of Product Marketing. Nick holds B.S. degrees in Information Systems and Finance from George Mason University.
Dan Dearing - VP of Marketing
Dan Dearing is Vice President of Marketing at Enterproid Inc. With 20+ years of industry experience, Dan has most recently held executive marketing roles at BoxTone, Trust Digital and NexTone, where he helped create new product categories that changed how carriers and mobile IT connect networks and people. At Trust Digital and BoxTone, he helped create and promote Enterprise Mobility Management, which is enabling enterprise IT to mobilize their workforce. While at NexTone he created marketing, product, and partnership strategies that differentiated the company as a leading supplier of VoIP Session Border Controllers for carriers, service providers, and enterprises. Dan earned a BS in Computer and Information Science from Ohio State University and an MS in Computer Science and Applications from Virginia Tech.
